€ 30.000 for Japan and Holiday

Journal Entry: Fri Jul 29, 2011, 5:52 PM

Not many know that I have been organizing a donation to the disaster in Japan!

It was a private donation, so it was a bit slower but i'm very! proud that it has become € 30,000
I asked a successful artist to make a picture for me, a commission connected with my personal feelings!

by :iconkandasama:

This picture helped me to push the donation.I've got the original sent by her and exhibited in my business.Including an explanation, "why".
It was donated and I'm very glad about as much support and encouragement!

This is money for the children and the reconstruction. The life thereafter.

Many children are to become as orphans, no family, no friends, no help and my friend, who is himself become victims of this disaster, has support orphan schildren.
I donate every year a bit for different organizations and I think it's right to give the children to smile again, more hopeful and a home for a long time!

I'll bring the money next week to Japan when I buried my friend :blackrose:

So,I hope they give me a smile

~Holiday

I'm back
sorry for the late reply

The people were very friendly and they have not let it see that there is public emergencies
Much is still not built and many still need medical help.
In some areas, everything is the same as before, as if a disaster never happened and in many other areas, nothing has been built up, no help and the people continue to seek accommodation with friends etc. ..no medical help!
But only because many don't want to help. There are mainly the elderly refuse to help, just proud of Japanese ;) you can persuade them anything, which have their own living way which is surprising!

It was hard to see everything with my own eyes but the money was good, it was accepted and given people in need. The children were happy!
